2012 Sustainable Business Awards Packed the House 

ECUS, in partnership with The University of Tampa, recognized 12 Tampa Bay area businesses for outstanding sustainable business practices. “These businesses have made serious commitments in the categories of People, Planet and Profit that make the Tampa Bay area economy and community a better place to live, work and play!” shared ECUS Founder Janet Roberts.

The awards were presented in front of a packed house of guests, whose remarks included, “I never knew of most of these companies let alone what good work they do.  It is a real eye-opener to what the Tampa area has to offer.” The 4th annual ECUS Sustainable Business Awards luncheon was held on February 24th at the UT Vaughn Center, and included among the guests were Mayor Bob Buckhorn and County Commissioner Sandy Murman.
