Join Earth Charter US

We are in a transformational time in the United States and the ground is more fertile than ever for a concerted national effort to build a more just, sustainable and peaceful global society.

In 2000, a global civil society movement completed the Earth Charter — a declaration that lays out the basic principles and values to building a sustainable earth: environmental protection, human rights, equitable human development, and peace. The Earth Charter "seeks to inspire in all peoples a sense of global interdependence and shared responsibility for the well-being of the human family, the greater community of life, and future generations."

Our organization, Earth Charter US, seeks to make these principles a guiding framework for our lifestyles, organizational practices, and social policies in the United States, by organizing events, educating peers, and forging a new community across our country — and planet. If we all join together in supporting this important initiative, we can build a better, more sustainable planet.

Join with us as we build this movement for global sustainability.
