At a summit entitled "Enhancing Equality between Men and Women in the EuroMed Region," government experts, women's rights leaders and experts met to formulate a plan to address lingering issues of gender equality in countries such as Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, the Palestinian Territories, Syria and Tunisia.
